Welcome to Zera Noya Dutch Bakery
Zera Noya means New Beginnings, and the name has never felt more true. This bakery has held our biggest dreams, our biggest leaps, and the chapters we never expected.
We are (and will always be) Vibin, our daughter Adayah and (I) Sarah. I am the Pastry Chef, trained in the Netherlands, and Vibin was the one who brought structure, energy and possibility to the dream. We started baking from home during 2020, and in February 2023 we opened our first bakery in Kacheripady, Ernakulam. A year before that, our daughter was born, our first baby. The bakery quickly became our second.
In 2024, I lost Vibin. The bakery became a place where his ideas and courage continued to live. It also became a new beginning for me and for our little girl.
3 years!
Three years later, Zera Noya has grown its team, its menu and its community. We bake Dutch breads, pastries, savouries and celebration cakes with natural ingredients and traditional techniques, no preservatives, no artificial colours, no shortcuts.
This bakery is not just about baking. It’s about building, rebuilding, and creating something good for others. It is our new beginning, and hopefully it becomes one for many more.
